Alder Firewood

kiln-dried alder firewood are produced by our company. Although length can normally be changed to suit each customer’s requirement, we typically provide two common sizes: 25–27 cm and 28–30 cm.Because our alder firewood is mechanically kiln dried, it has the highest quality available.

Despite being a hardwood, alder firewood is lighter and less dense than ash, oak, and hornbeam—qualities that Birch shares. Although it burns more quickly than oak, ash, or hornbeam, it is quick and simple to light, produces a lot of heat, and has a brilliant, vivid flame. It’s ideal for smaller wood-burning stoves and can be mixed with denser woods for longer lifespan. Additionally, every one of our Kiln Dried Alder Logs has received the “Ready To Burn By Woodsure” certification.

Alder is excellent for cooking, smoking, and using in woodstoves. It is regarded as a hardwood since it burns similarly to conifers but lacks pitch. It burns for a significant amount of time and is simple to light. If necessary, splitting it is not too difficult.

We provide entire cords of premium seasoned firewood with a satisfaction guarantee.
